What is Kitchen/Food Scale?

Kitchen scale or food scale is a calibrated domestic tool used to measure ingredients for cake making and cake decoration to ensure accuracy in the quantity of ingredients used and also help follow recipe measurement. Kitchen (Food) scale is usually in grams (G) and kilograms (KG).

 

PREPARATION of Kitchen Scale For Measuring Cake Ingredients Tutorial

Step 1: Place your Kitchen scale on a flat and balanced/level surface

Step 2: Ensure the red pointer is resting on zero (0), if not use the reset button to adjust it to 0

Step 3: Put your ingredient in the measuring scale container

Step 4: Monitor the reads to ensure it aligns with your recipe
